Haven't posted on the part blog for quite a bit of time.
As usual, start of with the simple updates:
CSM'08Remember CSM'05? All of us will remember. The green attire with the oval shaped hat and a feather. i dont really know how their attire was exactly like, but it was special. loaned from hq. the first ever pds performance we watched excluding the one for orientation.
Remember CSM'06? All of us will clearly remember. As part of the PDS performance itself on that special day. We were in the real no. 3 uniform. That was the 2nd performance for most of us. Being presented in front of another large audience, we did our best. Though it had a fair bit of screw ups, overall the performance was really one of the nicest we ever had. Especially the coordination.
Remember CSM'07? Another one which we will clearly remember. We were performing once again. In half u with unit tee. Once again we performed before the hcjc, ny, hcis audiences and our school. Our first field performance with advanced drills invovled.
Back to now. CSM'08 we didn't perform. Reasons? A lot of them. I won't bother mentioning. We have done so much speculations and maybe we can just attribute the reasons to some teacher. Nevertheless, hopefully the cadets don't blame us for conducting training even though we didnt confirm whether there was a performance or not.
(im typing in a damn formal manner cos i know if i dont ill flare up and flame the bloody dog like hell)
Instead of performing, some of us and part cs were doing crowd control. basically, the saikang npcc used to do for the past 3 years. why has it been pushed it us? i dont know either. most likely the work of the adored teacher but nevertheless, we did our jobs to the best of our abilities.
The teachers' communication of messages screwed up. JC side collecting EZ-link cards to grant access for the jc students past our line of defence. High school teachers say high school students not allowed. in the end, some ppl collect and let ppl pass through, some ppl dont. The school didnt even come to a consensus on the system for keeping students within the school and simply passed on the job to us. So SMART RIGHT?
Those of us in no 4 and badges on that day were walking around to pass messages to the part cs on duty with regards to information on who to keep out and whether to collect ez link cards etc. and settle problems with people. i think they seriously did a good job when they knew what they had to do.
According to what i know, bertram went around the classes to chase people out of the classrooms. i think he said he chased out guanchiang and some other seniors from the classrooms O.O aaron and ferris were chasing ppl back into the terraces who managed to escape past our line of defence and sneak into forbidden areas like the canteen. weijing, junkai and yk were going around to coordinate and help the cadets.
For myself i was helping chongyee at the SRC area. he went to the back of SRC to block people from running past to go out the school. i was at the src area blocking off mostly JC ppl until yangcheng came along to replace me.
My experience with one of the more kaopeh jc guys (not exactly accurate but somewhat like that):
-Excuse me, could you all go back to the terraces?
-We need to go to the JC side.
-For what?
-blah crap reasons like going to the toilet
Follow them from art block there to linkway between ep3 shed and SRC.
-Excuse me can you stop for a moment?
-Dao and continue walking
Place one hand on his shoulder and asks him to stop walking off
Shrugs it off and continue walking
Now i used TWO hands TO restrict him from moving off
Gives me kaopeh look
-What lah
-Tells him to cooperate
Argues and gives me worser kaopeh look
Argues until Sir Daniel pulls the guy away from me and heads back to terraces
After that i go to concourse. Second kaopeh session!
Group of sec 4 proed people and one ny girl sitting beside one of the streams lining the concourse
-Excuse me, could you all please go back to the terraces? we all sec 4s leh please cooperate with us.
-There very hot
-I also know but we're doing my duty. Don't make things difficult for us la.
-Eh you want change anot? You change out and i change into your uniform and wear all your badges?
-Thats not the point. Can you please go back to the terraces?
-Eh you think you very big ah. I also can wear your uniform with your badges and tell you go to the terraces. You got badges very zai issit. I can take your badge and put on my ear also can. Then i become very zai also. *adds action*
*Argue*
Some proed guy tells him: never mind lah just go back to the terraces
*turns and walk off*
Third kaopei session!
basketball court at canteen. got one s3 ortus council guy (i rmb him from the malacca trip) playing bball with his friends and one jc guy.
-Did you all know that you all are not supposed to come down
-Your people up there say that can go toilet (or do sth. i forgot) for 5 minutes. We just came down here. let us play basketball for 5 minutes lah
*continues playing*
-The point here is that you all are not supposed to come down here at all
-Just 5 minutes lah no problem one. Very fast one.
JC guy kps about something that i cant remember.
-Eh quick leh go back terraces lah if not i have to call our teacher to come down liao
-Dont like that lah we play very fast one.
-I going to call liao ah if you all dont stop

-You really calling ah?

-Eh he serious one. kk we going off liao
Pack bags and go off
Den i go chase the rest of the high school people out of the canteen. lucky the ppl playing vball quite cooperative.
Oh. And i read on yangcheng's blog. When they running back to SALT centre someone shouted "NCC SUCKS!"
okay lor you all big fucks. all dua dua can come and kaopeh us. you all BIG RIGHT? we suck and you rock right?
think about it. those hwachong people who think they very zai can come and kp us. hate us for catching you all when you are late nvm. hate us for restricting you all within the school also nvm. but you verbally shout so loud, when there are hcis people, nanyang people and other hwachong people. you shout. damage our name and reputation.
think you very zai and must be very proud of yourself right? i took the courage to express my hate for you all leh. they say i must learn to express myself and my thoughts.
Ever thought about us? we are given this duty, this responsibility. and you all are also given the responsibility to follow rules. You can come to school early so we wont catch you for being late. You can follow the rules and stay inside the boundaries set for students so we wont kaopeh you all and ask you all to go back to the terraces. You shouted "NCC sucks" at our backs.
I CAN TELL YOU STRAIGHT IN THE FACE. WE OWN YOU LIKE HELL. AT LEAST IN TERMS OF EQ AND AQ. we wont let this kind of small insult ruin our name and our pride. we are HCINCC. established in 2005 when tchs combined with hcjc. we have a name and reputation for ourselves.we are not target practice dolls for your flaming and sludge flinging.
get this into your head. HCINCC will not fall. we will stand up stronger and prouder than ever. we will ensure that our juniors will continue our legacy. this legacy that has been passed down from batch to batch.
2 months left to ORD. we're gna keep our name as HCINCC Part [D] '08 till the day we aren't proud of that name. and that means forever.
