Lessons learnt : Plenty. We realised that we relied too heavily on our ncos. We didnt use much of our own initiative to clarify things. We were quite inflexible and stubborn. Among all our experiences at HQ, the interaction session we had with the SCLTs on the 3rd night was probably the most meaningful event throughout the camp. Like our own CLTs, they showed deep thinking and we could tell they were good leaders. They listened, explained to us the rationale for that drill mutual session and conveyed lots of important messages to us.
After all, the aim of the specialist course is not simply to pass ur gsk, ifc and trainfire tests and get ur 2nd sergeant rank. It is not that simple and meaningless. Our seniors (kw and the others) mentioned before, spec course is the time for thinking about what you want to do as leaders of the unit, our goals, objectives and everything. Indeed, we have learnt alot, thought about many things. Among them all, most importantly is our specialist duties and our specialist creed. "To excel in our specialist duties," This places utmost significance on the creed. As specialists and NCOs of our unit, we pass on skills, share experiences and knowledge, and lastly provide guidance on their development, physical and mental, and to nurture them to become leaders. In the midst of doing this, we will, to the best of our ability, bring the unit to greater heights. We do not fight for honour and glory for nothing. Our unit, will win the BUC, if not, we will train the cadets to win the BUC next year, or the next next year.

I only have one thing to say...the CLT WHO TOOK RECORD OF OUR RESULTS U BETTER WATCH OUT. About 4 of us(or more) got our 10 marks results (marksmen) slashed to a result only worthy of a pass. Sir (paul ho) mentioned that his target for us was to get 12 marksmen. We had 8, if the 4 of us had our results entered correctly, we could accomplish 12. Its not just meeting his expectations, its the pure fact that the CLT is a obstinate and cocky bastard. We ask for results, he rudely ignore. Ask him to confirm our results dont wan, only when we call in our west commander (daryll gj) den was he willing to change the results to the correct one (for daryll). The rest of us nv call in extra support, he just dao us and anyhow put results at first glance of our target board.
