Hi people!
The blog died again...?
Anyway I shall try to revive it again. If you have read this, tag in the tagboard and help to spread the message to make this blog alive. Anyway, Gmail and Forum are also not very active.
Maybe it's because it's the holidays? Nothing to talk about?
Anyway, for the benefit of those who went to Mount Ophir, I shall now talk about last training. The one with Aaron as CUO. Ok la let me be direct. That training was super slack la. =) Sorry Aaron but that's the truth. Although it was very fun.
We started out with 40 pumpings because of the uniform. A few people had 2 mistakes. And I expect everyone to have lesser than that in the next few trainings. Almost NCO liao leh. Then we went for arm drills. Aaron, good job with the teaching. =) And I think our drills were not bad because there was a very low attendance. However, our marching is still damn screwed. Too long never drill liao. Under hot sun too long, almost everyone were dehydrated and tired and sian. Somemore in SALT Centre parade square, more sian. Although it was around 10am, we were super sian. Imagine yourself a few years back, when we were drilling at the top storey of MSCP under a hotter sun. As I said, too long never drill under hot sun liao. Must ENDURE!
Okay after drills, we went for PT. Everyone had to do 10 pullups in No3. 15 of us supposed to do 140 pullups in total. I did 15 pullups. Aaron did 16 OMG. Anyway, the gap in our PT standards is super large. Some people could not do a lot, while some others could. Those who cannot must seriously go train up. Go and see the PT criteria in Gmail. Go and refresh your memory. And start to train up. Fail your PT test, no more immersion. Take note. Because a few people could not do 10 pullups each, we did the number times 5 for PT part 2. For those who did not make it, you know it yourself. Go train up. We did 75 jumping jacks in 3 sets. Although I feel that we could have finished it in one try. Seriously la. During camp we also did 120 straight before. In No4 also...
After PT, we went back to bunk, changed into PT Kit. Then MSG Khang Wen talked to us about certain stuff regarding our part, regarding our part when we take over. He wanted us to think about things from this word - "unit". Before you continue reading, try to make a mindmap. Think about things to do with a unit. There can be a lot of things. And we discussed about stuff we can do when we take over. 1 term nia. Super short. Treasure the time. Think about the future. Think about ourselves, our part, our unit. The journey won't be easy. So we have to start working together from now on. When we become NCOs, we have more things to do. Right now, our studies should be very good. Our standards should be equally high. Mug and train. Gaming can wait. For those who missed out on the discussion, go ask us personally in school. We can tell you a lot more.
After that discussion, we went for games as a celebration for the good results we got for BUC. I think we missed it by a little. Highest score 95. Our score is 94.something. CLTs are fighting for bonus marks for the COE. I hope we win. Win this time, and we shall continue the legacy, as NCOS.
Anyway games was super fun. We played with NCOs at the street soccer court. And we started killing mozzies. We started niaoing all those who were playing. We started niaoing about certain people we shouldn't be niaoing at that time... Junkiat got rather pissed cos whenever he got the ball, we all shouted "pok" and then we shouted that he was "bong"ing the ball. LOL. Then he everytime lose the ball. =) Chao funny la. We niaoed Aaron "hairball" when he touched the ball. We niaoed almost everyone playing. LOL. But it was super fun la. We played from 11+ to around 12.30pm. There wasn't a Bersurai or debrief. We just changed into Part jersey and went to eat at SIM.
Junyan so sad cannot eat cos he got wisdom tooth surgery. Most of us went to eat at SIM. Joked around. Made some stupid noise. Niaoed one another. On the whole, that day ended damn nice.
